Tranquillity is a great environmental overhaul mod that greatly improves the environments of vanilla Skyrim, which, let’s be honest, looked pretty bad. If your PC can handle it, though, check out this stunning mod to drastically improve the lighting of Skyrim. I have occasionally had a good laugh, when certain ladies with thight topknot bolt out to those "horny teenager boys and their filthy female body mods", while some of those meshes and mods were done by young or middle-aged females, with long experience of modelling.This one particularly focuses on improving colors and lights of the game’s areas, but it can be quite an intensive mod to run, and you may find your performance struggling if you use this ENB. Many younger female players might feel (as far I have spoken with them, or read their messages and blogs) that they are not taken seriously in modding communities, if they present themselves as females. Thing is, that you never know who is behind the alias. You do know that some of the most influential female body, animation and skeleton modders in Nexus are females themselves, right? I don't know how much they currently mod or play, but their work tops lists constantly. While I'm there choronicling the exploits of Glints-in-the-Dark the Argonian, he's playing as Boba Fett the omnipotent Orsimer, because LOL, lore and actually trying to make things fit. A friend of mine's more like that, and he can't be bothered to customize his characters or give then names. I figure gender's more of a consideration when you're not a determined min-maker who's basically going to create ONE character and plow through the whole game with it. Maybe it's because I'm a Francophile by nature and kind of like sticking lore-friendly French names on Breton lasses I dunno. My Breton's a female and so's my Dunmer, I have two Nords of either gender, and the rest are all single males.įrom Morrowind to Skyrim, I just can't create male Breton characters. For some reason, some races just seem to line up with a specific gender for me. I usually come up with a concept for each character, at about once per race. Many people play thier opposite gender cause to them the char looks better to them.
